SPECIAL PROJECTS
FIDM Special Projects is a branch of the FIDM Career Center through which current students can collaborate with brands on exclusive projects. These promotional materials were shared to FIDM's student population and on fidmspecialprojects.info. Graphics created on Canva.
2023 introduced the second installment of The FIDM x High School Mentorship Program. The website and promotional materials were shared with participating high schools across the nation to select students for the 2023 cohort. Graphics created on Canva. Site made using Google Sites and Google Forms.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The Official FIDM Alumni Association reaches over 7,000 members on LinkedIn and over 25,000 email subscribers. The events below were shared with their respective national and international audiences via Symplicity Newsletter, LinkedIn and published on Eventbrite. Created using Canva.
RECRUITMENT EVENTS
The FIDM Career Center hosted an annual Retail Hiring Event and Recruitment Day. Each are day-long endeavors featuring 8-15 recruiters who are appointed interviews with eligible FIDM students and alumni. The following graphics were creating using Canva, Wix, and shared to recommended applicants via Symplicity, Canvas, and on the Career Center's internal office (2022).
For event registration, students were provided a "How-To" guide through: myfidm.wixsite.com/retail. The graphics above were shared on the Career Center television and internally with FIDM faculty & staff.
WEBSITE DESIGN
To facilitate accessibility of the FIDM Career Center's job application and advising platform, Mia created the FIDM Career Center Login landing page. Using the website builder, Wix.com, Islas reserved the domain myfidm.wixsite.com/login on which to delineate the steps to access the platform
The first iteration of the site was a single page with no scroll feature (see below), to streamline the process, the directions were laid out step by step, to avoid confusion (see above).
